The holidays is the time of year where we do the most hosting and gathering with family and friends. Inviting my love ones over to celebrate the magic of the holidays, is so joyous to me. It's like welcoming them into my heart. My favorite room in the house to gather around this season is the dining room. All of the magic takes place in this haven. It's the place where we gather for laughter, reminisce good times, while enjoying delicious food. Since my dinning room is the focal point during this time of year, putting together a elegant tablesetting is a must.






Poinsettias, berries, and anything that screams nature is so warming for the Christmas Holiday. Its something about the greenery, pinecones, and snow that makes things so beautiful to me. I always stop by my local Hobby Lobby to create my centerpieces and pick up more tiny Christmas trees to scatter through out my home. The center piece is your focal point of your setting. Make sure you keep your color scheme when creating it. 

You don't do flowers? Garland down the center of your table will create a elegant look as well. 





When decorating your table for Christmas, stay with one color scheme and theme to achieve a cohesive look. Here I stayed with red and silver, and accented with crystal for a elegant and natural Christmas Tablescape. 










The silver charger mats, red placemats, and the red and silver poinsettia napkin holders were all  purchased off amazon. 







Tiny Christmas trees with lights were added to the buffet for a magical twinkle touch. If you're a tree lover like me, add another full size Christmas tree in a corner of your dining room in the same theme as your table.  




More Tablesetting suggestion's:

*Tea candles are great substitutions to candlesticks
* Name Holder Cards with your guest names
*Add a few sets of twinkle lights
*Create personalized ornaments for guest with year and name as place holder as keepsakes
*Add garland
*Candles to set the mood of the night
*Instead of rolling the napkin, fold napkin in half and place under plate
*Candle holders with theme color candle sticks
*Theme Pillows and Blankets

This is 44...........The Self-Love Era!

 This past July 30th, I celebrated my 44th birthday. I swear, once I turned 35, these birthdays started coming around fast as hell. But I thank the most high for allowing me to see them all. Giving me the opportunity to be here for my beautiful children, as well as my family and close friends.  A part of my brand is encouraging self-love and improvement. Daily I strive to evaluate myself inside and out, as well as where I am in life. After much reflecting, there is a lot that I'm truly proud and grateful for. But there's also things that I must continue to work on daily to enhance my inner being. While there's room for improvement, I also thank my current self for becoming the woman I currently am. I will continue to celebrate all wins in life no matter how big or small. This past year was filled with so many small wins that I've prayed for a long time. RH Rooftop Restaurant Birthday Celebration

This past weekend I celebrated my 44th birthday with close family and friends. My birthday isn't until July 30, (LEO GANG) but due to me being out of town then, I wanted to pre-celebrate with them before leaving. I've heard so much about RH that I just had to see what all the fuss was about. RH Charlotte is a luxury home furnishing store located in South Park's Phillips Place shopping center, with a rooftop restaurant and wine bar.  RH Rooftop was such a vibe!! The ambiance and staff were great. Walking thru the doors on the first floor was such a dramatic entrance. There's 14ft high ceilings with chandeliers and a golden stairwell that leads up to the second and third floors. But of course, I came cute, so your girl took the elevators instead! RH rooftop restaurant is located on the third floor. This restaurant is so glamorous. It's a luxurious greenhouse filled with beautiful waterfalls, chandeliers, and marble tabletops. The restaurant is opened all day for break...
