Every woman has gone through being anxious about what to wear for a date. Being in a long distance relationship, my date nights are limited. So when Tay and I are finally together, I definitely take advantage of those nights and moments. What girl doesn't want to look good for their man? The key for me is to look amazing the times we're together, for him to want to see me more when were apart.  Were in full summer mode right now. Although Summer isn't officially here yet, the weather is extremely warm. Whether he and I are headed out for dinner, a movie, brunch, or just for coffee, I love keeping things simple and pretty. I've never really been a floral print lover, but within the past few months, it has really grown on me.  The Carolina Cup took place yesterday Saturday, May 22, 2021. It was definitely a hot one! The cup is usually the last Saturday of March, or the first Saturday in April. But due to covid, this year it was pushed back to May. It was sponsored by The Mullikin Law Firm this year. The Carolina Cup is one of the biggest steeple horse race events on the east coast. It puts little old Camden, South Carolina on the map.  Over the course of its 80+year history, it has hosted over a million visitors at the Springdale Race Track. People from near and far travel to meet up with family and friends to attend yearly. I've seen some even host their family reunions and class reunions there as well. At The Carolina Cup, I catch up with friends and old classes-mates from high school and college. It's always a good time seeing those faces. I meet such amazing people every year.   This past week was truly an eventful one. I traveled to Charleston, attended a college tour, planned my daughters 18th birthday, partnered with collaborations, and blogged...…I've been physically and mentally exhausted and all over the place. However, I loved every bit of it. So many positives and life changing events going on right now for my family and I. There were Milestones reached and beautiful beginnings. I can't be more proud.  Even though my week was rather busy,  I still made time to come up with my March Favorite Things. Jordyn turned 18 which was such a treat.
