The Meaning of Christmas is totally different for everyone. To me it means celebrating Jesus Christ, Family, giving, my favorite holiday drinks, and last but not least.....holiday movies!!!
I have so many classic favorites that I love to watch. Some of my most memorable moments as a child is just sitting around during this time of year with my family enjoying them all. They bring such joy and celebration to watch.
On Christmas Eve, we all would gather around the television with popcorn and our favorite snacks in our brand new Christmas PJs that we got every year. The Grinch that Stole Christmas was always first on the watch list. Next Charlie Brown's Christmas, followed by Rudolph, and Home Alone.
Everyone was so happy and full of joy just to be together. The smile and signs of happiness on my parents faces lit up the room. They are definitely big kids at heart. Just seeing and experiencing them spending that time with my siblings and I, I was able to pass all of my childhood memories and traditions down to my children. The kids and I have also created traditions of our own.
Watching these movies also teaches your children the real meaning of Christmas. It's not about the materialistic things. It's about compassion, generosity, and goodwill. Coming up on these movies has truly made me grateful. Below is a roundup of my favorite holiday movies. What are your traditional must see films during this time of year?
