Flash Back Friday! My very 1st Blog Post For Life&Glamour

There comes a time in our lives where we must come to terms with growth, out-growth rather. You must change the woman you are to get to places and things we want out of life. In order for this process to take place, we must change things within and also the people around us. Like the saying goes...."You are the company you keep"!

This was a issue of mine that I struggled with for years. However, over time, my mindset changed for the better. The woman I was before tolerated a lot of things:  excuses, inconsistency, heartache, drama,  stress, mental abuse, fake friends, the list goes on.  All the above drained the life out me. I woke up one day needing a change for the better.  I knew in order for me to evolve to my higher self, I needed to drop everything and everyone that did me no good. Including relationships and negative individuals. Nothing happens over night. It took time, but everyday I worked towards my growth. After the process of elimination, I began to feel free and happier each day.  I had to move from once was tolerated, and develop a new and pure mindset of self worth and what I knew I deserved. As I grow daily, so does the people and things around me.

This goes for every aspect of life. You want that relationship that you know you deserve? Stop falling for the same boys you once entertained. Come out of your box. Stop looking at things and people as LAME!!! Tear up that list you once went by.  Stop tolerating being lied to, cheated on, deceived, and the broken promises. Stop tolerating men acting like high school boys. Stop allowing Community D###.  Everything listed above comes at a high price not worth paying. 
Look for the man that has things to offer instead of things to show.  Look for the guy that is seen instead of being heard. Someone that cares about your well-being , worth, and want to help you grow into a better person.  The guy that wants to build with you. Looks and money isn't everything honey!

Tired of fake friends? Get rid of them too!!! Don't hold on to those envious and jealous individuals. The ones that get quiet at your success. The ones that are never there for you like you are for them. They hide in the shadows wanting you to fail and fall. Look for the souls that help you vibrate to your higher self. That speaks life into your cant's. These individuals want nothing but the best for you. They are that support system you need. 

In order for you to get the things out of life that you want so badly and deserve, you must stop tolerating everything you have in the past. Come out of your shell. Explore and work daily on that step of getting closer to the person you need to be in becoming happy and secure.  Evolve daily! :)

Radiant skin: Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda Mask.

This is 44...........The Self-Love Era!

 This past July 30th, I celebrated my 44th birthday. I swear, once I turned 35, these birthdays started coming around fast as hell. But I thank the most high for allowing me to see them all. Giving me the opportunity to be here for my beautiful children, as well as my family and close friends.  A part of my brand is encouraging self-love and improvement. Daily I strive to evaluate myself inside and out, as well as where I am in life. After much reflecting, there is a lot that I'm truly proud and grateful for. But there's also things that I must continue to work on daily to enhance my inner being. While there's room for improvement, I also thank my current self for becoming the woman I currently am. I will continue to celebrate all wins in life no matter how big or small. This past year was filled with so many small wins that I've prayed for a long time. We owe it to ourselves to acknowledge and celebrate those wins too. 44 is my era of self-love, my healing of progress
