If you're like me, after a long and stressful day at work, you want nothing but to come home and soak away the anxiety and stress of your day. Over time I've developed a routine that I follow on these particular days, that really helps my body relax and calm down for a good night of sleep. After dinner, I go in my bedroom and light my lavender and chamomile candles. Lavender and Chamomile is great at getting us in the mood to sleep. Lavender is also good for those that suffer with anxiety. It helps you calm down by slowing your nervous system, while making it easier to relax. After lighting my candles, I turn off my bedroom lights and close my room door to keep the aromatherapy in. My favorite lavender and chamomile candle is by DW Home. When ever I'm in T.j.Maxx, I usually pick up 2 -3 of them at a time. Its a much needed necessity in my home. 😁
Next I run a hot bath with Dr Teal's Pink Himalayan Mineral Soak (Restore & Replenish). The soak is a combination of epsom salt and pink himalayan salt to revive tired muscles and replenish your body minerals. The bergamont and sweet orange oils provide relief from stress. I turn my bathroom lights off as well, and burn a small lavender and chamomile in my bathroom too. (To set a more relaxed mood). Relaxed, I lay there for 20 mins to allow the soak to work and relieve. Then wash like normal. I usually purchase Dr Teal's from Walmart or Ulta. Walmart is always a little cheaper. It's $4.87 a bag in Walmart.
Another Body product that I love to use in the bath and out, is the Bath and Body Works Stress Relief And Sleep aromatherapy lines. I use the shower gel and body lotions. Both lines awakes your senses, clears your mind, and relaxes your body instantly. These Bath and Body lines also have matching candles as well.

After bathing, I then put on my favorite pjs, make a cup of green tea, and find my favorite book. As I read a little while sipping on my tea, my body starts to feel so light and relaxed. Before falling asleep, I then get up and blow my candles out. The next morning I awake well rested and energized. Feeling like a new woman, I'm ready to take on the day ahead.
